Hey there!

My name is Naseer Naseem. I graduated from Fayetteville High School in 2014 as a top ten student by GPA, with 15 AP classes under my belt. I got a 34 on the ACT. I can proudly say I have helped many of my students surpass that score. I have been tutoring since 2013, and I have tutored students with 13’s and students with 35’s. I attended the University of Arkansas where I received the top fellowship—the Bodenhamer fellowship—as well as the Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship. I graduated with a dual degree of Honors Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and a minor in Spanish. I was also named a Razorback Classic by the Arkansas Alumni Association as one of eleven top men at the university. I recently graduated University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I was awarded the Class of 1981 Alumni Scholarship and the Class of 1995 Alumni Scholarship, given to the senior student who is seen as a promising young physician and a student that is active in school life and demonstrates a spirit of volunteerism, respectively. I am now an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at Tulane University. I also like to mountain bike, play ultimate frisbee, and take photos.

The University of Arkansas’ Honors College picks 6 incoming freshmen to receive the Bodenhamer Fellowship, funded by the Bodenhamer Foundation. The foundation, created by Lee Bodenhamer (B.S.B.A.’57, M.B.A.’61, both at U of A, and D.B.A.’68, Harvard), established the Bodenhamer Fellowships in 1998. The fellowship is the most prestigious scholarship offered to incoming undergraduates. In the most recent class, the average overall ACT score of the Bodenhamer class was 34.67. When selecting Bodenhamer fellows, the scholarship committee looks at involvement in community services, extracurricular activity, intellectual curiosity, leadership skills, and creativity.
